The didactic year is the first half of your PA education. This portion is centered around classroom learning with the intent of providing the foundation medical knowledge needed to succeed as a PA. The didactic year is your time to attend lectures, participate in physical examination labs, and grow during preclinical rotations. Your faculty will be evaluating your performance through written exams, papers, assignments, and various labs.
